Chickpea Snack

This is so delicious, crunchy and tasty! See a video of how I do this here on my Instagram.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cans of chickpeas
  • Paprika spice
  • Garlic powder spice
  • Timian spice
  • Coriander spice
  • Cumin spice
  • Salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Start by heating oven to 200 C (390 F).
2. Open 2 cans of chickpeas, dry them as well as possible (I used a washer cloth first and then paper towel). Line them on a baking sheet and put in oven for 35-45 minutes (depending how crunchy you want them - make sure they do not burn!)
3. Mix 1/4 tsp each of whatever spices you like in a small bowl. I used paprika, garlic powder, salt, timian, coriander, cumin.
4. Once the chickpeas are “roasted” then transfer them right away to a bowl and toss with about 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil and then right away toss with the spices. Try to do this as soon as possible while the chickpeas are hot!
